🚗Arriving & getting in
Parking
Park on the concrete pad right in front of the house, or on the street. We share the driveway with our neighbor, so please keep pickup trucks off the driveway.
Front door keypad
Your personal door code arrives in your check-in message on the day of arrival. Enter the code on the keypad. If the keypad shows a green unlocked sign but the deadbolt still feels locked, pull back on the handle and try again.
Check-in time
From 3:00 PM. Early check-in depends on cleaning, just ask and we will tell you as soon as we know.
🗑️Trash & recycling
Where the carts are
Filled garbage bags go into the garbage cart, loose recyclables into the blue recycling cart. Both are in the backyard.
Pickup is Wednesday morning
If you stay Tuesday night, please roll both carts to the curb on Tuesday evening. If you check out on Tuesday, please roll them out before you leave. Thank you!
📍Around Kenosha
Lakefront
HarborPark, the lighthouse, and Simmons Island Beach are a short drive east. The Kenosha Public Museum and Civil War Museum sit right on the harbor.
Food
Frank's Diner for breakfast, Tenuta's Deli for Italian sandwiches and groceries, and plenty of pizza and supper clubs within ten minutes.
Groceries
Woodman's, Pick 'n Save, Meijer, and Target are all within about ten minutes.
Day trips
Milwaukee is 40 minutes north, Chicago about an hour south. The Metra train to Chicago leaves from downtown Kenosha.
